ENEMY OF THE PUBLIC: PUBLIC EMPLOYEE UNIONS


In 2012 Scott Brown will be vulnerable to the money and muscle of the public unions as will the Republican candidate for president. The outrage is that the money originates with taxpayers who pay taxes for government services but get instead fat and growing government payrolls voted by their elected representatives.

PALIN SAYS WHY OFFSHORE DRILLING IS VITAL FOR AMERICA

Greta van Sustern certainly doesn't agree with Sarah Palin on offshore drilling. Palin firmly explains why drilling must continue and why and how government regulators should and can make sure that oil companies do what they say they will do -- verify.

Based on her own experience, Palin is rightly critical of BP. Its safety record is poor and a BP oil pipeline in Alaska burst and spilled hundreds of thousands of gallons while she was in office. BP admitted it knew that section of the line was corroded yet it didn't fix it. BP was fined.

WHO'S THE GOP CANDIDATE FOR PRES IN 2012?

The 2012 guessing game has already started. Who are the likely Republican contenders to face the Obama re-election? Four names are consistently being bandied about; Mitt Romney, Sarah Palin, Governor Bobby Jindal of Louisiana and Governor Tim Pawlenty of Minnesota. Pawlenty is perhaps the least known of the four. He appeared on CNN's Sunday political talk show and made sense.
