At its meeting this week, the Chatham Republican Town Committee pledged to make electing John Chapman to Congress its number one priority for this year's election on November 4th.
There are many important contests on the Cape Cod ballot for November 4th, but none more important than the race for the 9th Congressional District seat. Massachusetts is poorly served by the all-Democrat congressional delegation that votes herd-like nearly 10% of the time following Nancy Pelosi's orders. Massachusetts has no voice in the leadership of the Republican-led House. John Chapman will give Massachusetts that voice.
John showed his electoral skills and personal appeal by coming out on top in a hotly contested primary race with three highly qualified candidates - Mark Alliegro of Falmouth, Vince Cogliano Jr of Pembroke and Dan Shores of Sandwich, all of whom have pledged their support to John's election.
John's opponent is Democrat William Keating, who has been on the public payroll since 1973 and has never had any meaningful experience with the private sector besides raising campaign funds. He votes for bigger and bigger government and more and more spending on entitlements and less and less for national defense. His record on helping grow the economy and jobs is one of the worst in Congress. With a dismal lifetime score of 9% from the Club for Growth, he tied with Nancy Pelosi in 2013 at close to the bottom of the barrel for helping the middle class.
Democratic policies have resulted in the worst recovery from an economic downturn since the Great Depression and the greatest number of unemployed working age Americans in our history. Democrats support the president's open border policy that has flooded the nation with uninvited immigrants overburdenening our welfare systems, taking jobs from American workers and eroding wage growth.
John Chapman will work for the middle class families which are the backbone of America and against Democrat policies which are favoring the super rich donors to the Democratic Party and those who prefer welfare to work.
Do you know that by refusing to approve the Keystone pipeline the Democratic administration is putting one billion dollars a year into the bank account of big time Obama donor and buddy Warren Buffet's Berkshire Hathaway? Just one example of Democrat crony payback to Democrat big donors.
But does John Chapman have a real chance to win in all-too-blue Massachusetts? The answer is a resounding "YES!"
Our 9th Congressional district have more fiscally conservative voters than every other congressional district in Massachusetts. In 2010, 2012 and 2013 Charlie Baker, Scott Brown and Gabriel Gomez ALL won the 9th Congressional District votes while failing to win statewide. And this year Charlie Baker will bring out voters disgusted with corruption and mismanagement on Beacon Hill as never before adding even momentum to John's election momentum.
John Chapman is the right man at the right time to win the 9th Congressional District in 2014 To do so, he needs the help of all of us who know America needs to change if it is to prosper once again. Join us in the campaign to elect John. We will be calling on you!!
