2016 ELECTIONS: 2014 Archives

HAPPY NEW YEAR - WE MEET MONDAY, JAN 5 AT 5, CHATHAM COMMUNITY CENTER

2015 should be an exciting and productive year in Washington and on Beacon Hill.

Conservatives have been strengthened in the House and Senate by the 2014 election, so the Washington Republican establishment leadership is going to be under enormous pressure to do what the people want not just what Wall Street and Big Business wants.

On Beacon Hill the spend more and make the taxpayers pay more mentality will come to a screeching halt with the Charlie Baker/Karyn Politio team taking over. This is by far the most qualified duo to step into these positions since Weld-Cellucci.

And the 2016 election for president beckons.

We will be discussing our agenda for 2015 and taking our second presidential preference poll. Our first poll at our meeting in December had Governor Scott Walker of Wisconsin in first place. Since then a recent national poll had Jeb Bush "surging" into the lead among presidential contenders. Trouble with that poll is that it left out more than half those who are considering running, including Mitt Romney, who led the last such poll by a wide margin. Once again, the mainstream media trying to dictate results.

We invite all Republicans and conservatives to attend and let us know what you think.
