The Chatham Republican Town Committee Mission Statement
The mission of the Chatham Republican Town Committee (CRTC) is to serve the political interests of Republicans and conservatives living in Chatham by providing an organization which will assist all voters in participating intelligently and actively in the electoral process and town affairs.
The committee is dedicated to promoting individual freedom and responsibility, fiscally sound and limited governments and America's entrepreneurial spirit. Traditional family values, Judeo-Christian moral principles and established conservative principles are our guide. Consistent with those principles, we support the election of Republican candidates at the county, state and national levels.
The CRTC will fulfill its mission by:
Conducting forums, fund raising, political rallies, outreach and social activities in support of Republican candidates and issues;
Maintaining a continuing Republican presence in the Town of Chatham at all times;
Keeping Republicans and conservatives informed about current political news and happenings through our website and Facebook page, and other media outlets;.
Providing a platform for Republicans and all conservatives to be heard on conservative issues such as fiscal restraint at the “grassroots” level;
Providing opportunities for future leaders and potential candidates to become actively involved in the electoral process at the local and state levels, to associate with other active Republicans and to develop bases of support;
Working cooperatively with other Republican and conservative organizations on Cape Cod, elsewhere in Massachusetts and across the country; and
Monitoring local government and government related activities, media commentaries and reporting to promote fiscal restraint, political fairness and inhibit and counter liberal indoctrination.
