JOHN KERRY'S MONEY WON THE RACE

The Massachusetts race for the U.S.Senate seat is history once again and money won again. Look at the difference in what Kerry and Beatty spent and had to spend. Kerry got over $7 million from "other," which means his wife or his presidential campaign leftovers.

Jeff Beatty raised almost as much in individual contributions as Kerry did in two years as Kerry did over six, but add $1 million in PAC money (lots from unions) and cash from the Kerry-Heinz bank and it's no contest.

LOCAL ELECTION REVIEW

Congratulations to Anastasia Walsh Perrino for winning the race to be Barnstable County Register of Probate. She ran a superb campaign in the primary against an excellent opponent (Priscilla Young) and in the final as well, defeating an experienced retiring Democratic state representative seeking a rocking chair close to home. She has the distinction of being the only Republican elected statewide running for the first time.

Thanks to those Republican candidates who put themselves on the line and worked hard to provide responsible and sensible service to government. Massachusetts contines to be among the nation's leading one-party states and its citizens continued to administer that self-inflicted wound again this year.

That Massachusetts may have to endure Senator Kerry for another six years is a thought almost as appalling as the prospect of him becoming U.S. Secretary of State (rumored that he is lobbying for it). Underfunded throughout, Jeff Beatty did a great job but just wasn't able to get his message out as broadly as necessary.

Don Howell also made a valiant effort to capture the representative seat for the Fourth Barnstable District, but, like Beatty, the funding advantage his opponent had from PACS and unions and the Democratic power brokers on Beacon Hill was too much.

Ric Barros and Brad Crowell would have brought expertise, competence and experience to the Barnstable County Commission. The contests were close, but the "extra" Democratic votes that came out this year made them fall short.

We salute you all.

In Chatham the Republican Town Committee volunteers staffed the polls throughout the day and we thank them for their efforts.

Also, during the last two to three months of the campaign, the Republican Town Committee, in addtion to running this website, placed ads in the local weekly the Cape Cod Chronicle. Of particular interest was the reaction of some Obama supporters, who denounced the factually correct information about the danger Obama represtented to America, replying with hysterical venom denying the truth without refuting the facts. The editor of the paper did the same, though with a more even tone. That Obama and Bill Ayers worked together for seven years (through 2002) funding communist Alinsky-type and Jeremiah Wright hate programs aimed at brainwashing schoolchildren were dismissed as ancient history. That Obama sat listening to Jeremiah Wright for 20 years, 1000 Sundays, spew his hatred of Jews, hatred of whites and hatred of America -- and gave him tens of thousands of dollars personally and through foundations he chaired -- isn't something to cause some people to wonder whether he agreed with Wright? What better way to seek information about what kind of America Obama wants to transform America into than looking at what he's done and who he did it with?

Many in Chatham and elsewhere who supported Obama "because it was the right thing to do to elect a black president" without being able to easily find out who he really is are in for a rude awakening. Obama made it difficult for them since he kept so much of his life hidden. And the media, including media in Massachusets, participated in concealing the facts when they could and airbrushing disclosures when they couldn't.

ELECTION DAY VICTORY IN SIGHT!

Vote for our fine Republican candidates.
God Bless America.
We are pround to be Americans.

McCain/Palin for President/Vice President
Jeff Beatty for U.S. Senate
Be sure to blank the vote for Congress or write in an opponent to the Democrat incumbent Delahunt, the self-described "close friend" of the Venezuela enemy of America Hugo Chavez. Delahunt is in our Hall of Shame for expressing delight at a congressional hearing that an intelligence professional had been forced to testify so al Qaeda could see what he looked like.
Don Howell for State Representative in the Fourth Barnstable District
Anastasia Walsh Perrino for Barnstable Registrar of Probate, running against a retiring Democratic legislator looking for a political job closer to home.
For Barnstable County Commission, vote Barros and Crowell into the two open slots.

JEFF BEATTY DEBATES JOHN KERRY ON NECN MONDAY

Republican Jeff Beatty can unseat Senator John Kerry with our help. Kerry fatigue is deep and wide and Jeff is an outstanding candidate. Click on the link in the right column to visit his campaign site.

Don Howell of Harwich has an excellent chance to unseat first time state rep Ms. Sarah Peake from Provincetown. He has a great record in serving Harwich and voters of the Lower Cape. He's raised a family on Cape Cod and been a small businessman for years. He knows what ordinary families are going through. He has earned the trust of people. Visit his website by clicking his link in the right column.

Anastasia Walsh Perrino is a strong candidate for Barnstable Register of Probate running against a retiring Democratic state representative with no experience whatsoever in the intricacies of probate. Perrino, on the other hand, has spent years as a private attorney and on the staff of the probate registry learning what it takes to serve the people of Barnstable. Check out her website.

Ric Barros and Brad Crowell are outstanding candidates for the Barnstable County Commission. There are two openings and both can be elected and deserve your vote.

In Chatham bumper stickers, yard signs and display signs are now available.
They can be had by contacting these two folks who are coordinating distribution for the Chatham Republican Town Committee:

JOHN KERRY, TIME TO GO

Jeff Beatty's new ad hits a nerve.

Does Kerry's undistinguished record in the Senate deserve yet another six years?

How about electing someone with experience as a small businessman -- and who is a loyal American who served in Special Forces, the CIA and the FBI -- who knows what it's like to be a citizen of Massachusetts struggling to ward off strangling regulation and higher taxes at the state and federal levels?

John Kerry has toed the Democratic line to keep America from drilling for its own oil to keep gas prices low and to prevent the U.S. from being beholden to Saudi Arabia. Their allegiance to environmental extremists has blinded them from doing what's best for America.

Jeff can win this race. Kerry fatigue is running deep.

To volunteer or make a donation, go to the right hand column of this website and click on the link to Jeff's site.

The American public in 2004 rejected Kerry after hearing all the facts. The people of Massachusetts can win this election.

REPUBLICAN ROUNDUP IN CHATHAM ENTHUSIASTIC, ENERGIZED

Sunday's Republican Roundup at Chatham's Wayside Inn was a resounding success. It drew the largest gathering in years. The enthusiastic crowd cheered repeatedly as McCain Palin spokeman Plymouth County Sherrif Joseph D. McDonald, Jr. spoke of John McCain's courage and service to his country and the electrifying effect of Sarah Palin's address to the Republican National Convention. He concluded by movingly detailing the injuries suffered by McCain during his five plus years in a Vietnam prison, noting that today not only can't McCain use a computer keyboard but he cannot lift his arm to salute the country and flag that he loves. "I'd rather have as president someone who wants to but can't salute his country's flag than somebody who can't be bothered to do so."

A dedicated volunteer from Truro spoke for Jeff Beatty, who sent his regrets because he was campaigning in Western Massachusetts. His report was of excellent crowds and repeated expressions from Democrats as well as independents that Kerry is just out of touch and doesn't relate to them. Beatty, who cannot match Kerry's huge advertising budget, is seeking multiple debates with Kerry, but Kerry so far has only agreed to one, clearly fearing head-on encounters with Beatty. People are mobilizing and alerady 4,000 are working to help Jeff Beatty defeat John Kerry.

Don Howell reported that he is getting an excellent reception in his contest for state representative as he has toured the Fourth Barnstable District. The most compelling issue on Cape Cod is homeowners' insurance, something his Democratic opponent has not lifted a finger about during her two years on Beacon Hill, preferring instead to focus on her favorite special interest rather than the major concern of her constituents.

Anastasia Walsh Perrino, a lawyer with experience in private practice as well as service in the Barnstable Registry of Probate, thanked those assembled for their support in her primary victory, then asked all to continue to work with her as she now faces a long-time Democratic state representative who many believe is seeking to "retire" to the Registry of Probate for more pension benefits and and a shorter commute to work. His "speciality" in the legislature was tourism, certainly not something to equip him to deal with the sensitive problems of families that come before the Registry.

Rounding out the program were the two excellent Republican candidates for County Commissioner, Since there are two open seats, both can be elected. Ric Barros of Barnstable has covered the country from one end to the other, just recently being in Falmouth where he grew up on his family's cranberry bogs. His dynamic presentation brought out frequent applause.

Brad Crowell's familiy has been on Cape Cod for generations. He therefore is confident that his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren will be living on Cape Cod long after his public service is over. He wants them to have the same wonderful Cape Cod that we enjoy. As chairman of the Cape Cod Commission he compiled a sensitive environmental record that earned praise from all parties. He closed by noting that some folks say he's "cheap." Well, he says, I am and I will take that attitude into the office serving the people of Barnstable County.

A special tribute was given to Mary LeClair, retiring after 30 years of service to Barnstable County, most recently as vice-chair of the Barnstable County Commission. Notable guests were chairmen of the several Repubican town committees of the Lower Cape and former state representative Shirley Gomes.

The event was sponsored by the Lower Cape Republican Council under the able leadership of Don Howell, now the Republican candidate for state representative for the Fourth Barnstable District.

It was announced that an area campaign office will be opening shortly at Skaket Corner in Orleans in the closed bank building by the Hearth & Kettle.

McCain Palin signs are in great demand and shipment from printers has been delayed, but quantities are expected to arrive this week in Chatham and other towns.

Thiose attending left with a reinforced determination to help elect these capable, dedicated Republicans to office.

JEFF BEATTY ON TV: CONFIDENT OF VICTORY OVER KERRY

Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate from Massachusetts Jeff Beatty appeared on Boston's Fox25 TV station Friday, September 19, 2008 to make his case as to why he can and will defeat John Kerry on November 4th.

While the interviewer suggested it would take a near "miracle" for Beatty to win, that is far from the truth. Massachusetts suffers from severe Kerry fatigue after 24 years of undistinguished service. That more than 30% of those voting in the Democratic primary voted against Kerry on September 16th amply demonstrates that.

That the Democratic Congress has the lowest polling figures in history (9% approval) and Massachusetts voters may well be realizing the disadvantage of having only one-party representation in Congress are additional reasons why Beatty's chances of winning are very good.

Beatty doesn't have access to Kerry's many millions, but he's a clear, dynamic thinker and knows what concerns the average voter. He's got a record in the armed forces, the CIA and the FBI and as a small businessman that Kerry could only wish for.

Here's a five-minute clip of the interview in which Beatty makes a convincing case for his victory in November.

REPUBLICAN RALLY SEPTEMBER 21 CHATHAM WAYSIDE INN

Everyone is invited to the Chatham Wayside Inn Sunday afternoon, September 21, from 3 to 5, to hear and speak to representatives of John McCain and Sarah Palin and to the Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate against John Kerry, Harwich's own Jeff Beatty.

Also attending will be Don Howell of Harwich, who is seeking to unseat Democrat Sarah Peake of Provincetown as State Representative from the Fourth Barnstable District.

Rounding out the field of candidates will be Brad Crowell and Ric Barros, who are contending for two seats on the Barnstable County Commission, and the Republican candidate for Register of Probate, who will be chosen in the September 16th primary, either Priscilla Young or Anastasia Walsh Perrino.

Bumper stickers, photos and buttons will be available. There will be food, music, a cash bar and a silent auction and a fun time for all.

We believe John McCain and Sarah Palin, both fearless fighters against corruption and special interests, are best able to clean up Congress, where both Biden and Obama, unfortunately, have been part of the problem. John McCain hates war, but knows that a strong defense is essential to keep us safe in these dangerous times of Russian adventurism and Islamic terror. Obama says he will slash our defense capabilities.

Jeff Beatty has a real chance to knock off John Kerry this November. Kerry's undistinguished 24 years in Washington have resulted in Kerry fatigue in Massachusetts. Jeff can't match Kerry's enormous wealth, but in courage, real experience, dedication and accomplishment -- and determination to fight for the people of Massachusetts, this former Army Delta Force Officer, former FBI agent, former CIA Counter-Terrorism Officer and small business owner comes out way ahead.

Don Howell has proven his worth serving his town of Harwich. Now he's ready to restore a sane voice for the people of the Fourth Barnstable District – one not beholden to any special interest -- to the State House.

Our county needs experienced, capable people who will value every taxpayer's dollar. Come hear why the Republican candidates for the county commission and the Office of Register of Probate are the ones on your side.

The Lower Cape Republican Roundup event is sponsored by the Lower Cape Republican Council (Don Howell, Chairman). Anyone may attend, but a special welcome will be out for voters in Chatham, Eastham, Harwich, Orleans, Provincetown, Truro and Wellfleet. Tickets are $30 each and can be obtained by calling Pat Klammer at 508-432-2963, Diane Bronsdon at 508-945-9218/945-3733 or Don Howell at 508-430-1672 or from a member of any of the Republican town committees or Howell headquarters at 14 Haskell Lane, Harwich.

JEFF BEATTY DETAILS WHY HE WILL DEFEAT JOHN KERRY IN NOVEMBER

Jeff Beatty was recently interviewed on New England Cable News about why he can and will defeat John Kerry in November and become the new U.S. Senator from Massachusetts.

Not only is Massachusetts experiencing Kerry fatigue (24 undistinguished years!), the state suffers from a lack of any Republican representation in Washington. It's time for a vigorous, new voice to replace a tired, old one.

JEFF BEATTY IMPRESSES WALL STREET JOURNAL FOLKS

The Wall Street Journal's James Taranto (Best of the Web) met Massachusetts Republican senatorial candidate Jeff Beatty at the Republican National Convention and was wowed by his impressive credentials. As he notes, in oh-so-blue Massachusetts Beatty has an uphill climb. Kerry has been in the Senate for 24 undistinguished years, occasionally popping up in Massachusetts news for wind-surfing and bar hopping in Nantucket. Kerry fatigue is working in Beatty's favor and the idea that Massachusetts would benefit from two-party representation in Washington could be catching on.

SUPPORT MCCAIN/PALIN AND JEFF BEATTY

The selection of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin to run with John McCain has generated enormous enthusiam and expressions of support. In the first hours after the announcement more than $7 million of new contributions rolled in.

Jeff Beatty of Massachusetts, who more and more looks as if he will defeat John Kerry for the U.S. Senate on November 4th, has issued a strong message of approval for the selection of Governor Palin. Such a strong ticket as McCain/Palin can only help Beatty achieve his goal and our goal of seeing two-party representation of Massachusetts in Washington.

Enthusiasm to be effective has to be translated into action. Go to the upper right of this site and click through to both the McCain and Beatty sites and contribute whatever you can to help their campaigns. You'll feel good if you do and America will be the better for your participation.

JEFF BEATTY MAKING THE ROUNDS OF NEW MEDIA

Jeff's campaign is in full swing. He has been building support not only in the tradtional venues, but online as well. Last week he met with a number of bloggers to present his case. He was consistent: A majority in Massachusetts are ready for a change in the U.S. Senate. Beatty predicts he will win over Kerry in November and that John McCain will carry Massachusetts.

With the public demanding action on high gas prices, Beatty noted that Kerry had skipped town:

“John Kerry left Washington for a Nantucket vacation rather than vote on a comprehensive energy bill. Instead of ducking the hard votes people want real leadership in Washington – leadership I will bring to the senate on behalf of voters who are feeling the crunch on energy and the economy.”

You've all seen the pictures of Kerry on vacation.

MASSACHUSETTS TO GO FOR MCCLAIN AND BEATTY

Hub Politics talks with Jeff Beatty, the Republican who is taking on John Kerry in November. Beatty, a decorated former Army Delta Force Special Officer, has been building support throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for over a year. While there has been little polling, what there is indicates that the public is tired of out-of-touch wind-surfing Kerry and voters are ready to elect a senator who speaks for them. A bonus is that the one-party rule of Massachusetts, that has served it so badly, will end with the election of Beatty. Want offshore drilling to bring gas prices down and reduce American dependence on the Middle East? Then vote for Beatty.

Beatty reads the tea leaves and the plummeting support for Obama in Massachusetts only increases his determination that this November will bring a McCain/Beatty double victory.

Beatty Says He’ll Defeat Kerry and McCain Will Win Massachusetts
by Matt Margolis, August 5th, 2008 at 08:04pm

Sound like overconfidence? Some might be quick to dismiss it as such, but recent polls suggest it may not be so farfetched...

Responding to a recent poll showing presumptive Democratic nominee Barack Obama’s lead over presumptive GOP nominee John McCain in Massachusetts narrowing, Jeff Beatty, the Republican challenging U.S. Sen. John Kerry, predicted victory in both his race and for McCain in Massachusetts.

A 7News/Suffolk University poll released Monday showed Obama (Ill.) with a nine-point lead over McCain (Ariz.) - 47 percent to 38 percent. The last 7News/Suffolk University poll, released a month and a half ago, showed Obama leading McCain by 23 points, 53 percent to 30 percent.

“People see him for what he is,” Beatty toldPolitickerMA.com referring to Obama. “Obama is shallow. He’s an empty suit. He doesn’t have the relevant experience to work the country out of its problems and John McCain does. I’ve been advocating an action policy to solve these problems and that’s resonating with voters. That’s why I’ll say McCain is going to carry Massachusetts and I’m going to beat John Kerry.”

In Massachusetts, a 9-point lead for Barack Obama is actually an extremely poor showing for someone who has been anointed with rock-star status by the media and the Democratic Party. Of course, one person who can share some of the blame for that is Deval Patrick, whose campaign of hope turned into an administration of incompetence.

TO HELP POOR KIDS GET A GOOD EDUCATION, VOTE MCCAIN AND BEATTY

There are many sharp differences between the positions of John McCain and Obama. McCain wants to give kids at the bottom of the economic ladder a chance to get a better educuation. Parents should have a choice. John McCain puts it very well:

"When a public system fails, repeatedly, to meet these minimal objectives, parents ask only for a choice in the education of their children." Some parents may opt for a better public school or a charter school; others for a private school. The point, said the Senator, is that "no entrenched bureaucracy or union should deny parents that choice and children that opportunity."

Obama backs the teachers union in opposing that opportunity, brushing it aside by calling it nothing but "tired rhetoric about vouchers and school choice." It is no coincidence the teachers unions support Obama for president.

The Wall Street Journal calls the nation's failure to provide a decent education to children in the inner cities "The Greatest Scandal." It is a tragedy not only for the children and their parents, but for the communities and the nation. HIgh drop-out rates lead to more crime, lower lifetime incomes, more welfare dependency and the loss of a productive citizenry.

The success of alternatives which parents can and do choose is overwhelming. But the Democratic Party is doing all it can to deny families school choice -- in Congress and at the local school boards in inner-city neighborhoods, wherever the unions are strong. Democrat Obama exercises his choice and sends his own children to private school in Chicago instead of the public schools in his district.

Just another reason why the nation will be far better off with John McCain as president and Jeff Beatty as a senator from Massachusetts.

HELP JEFF BEATTY DEFEAT JOHN KERRY

BeattyAttackHelicopter2296376238_19aa058b8e.jpg

Jeff Beatty, Republican candidate in the 2008 US Senate race, is a former Army Delta Force pilot, pictured here in front of a COBRA Attack Helicopter in Germany.

Jeff now is the Republican candidate to face John Kerry in the Senate race this November 4th. Despite the millions available to Kerry because of his Heinz heiress wife's wealth, Jeff has the credentials, the sound judgment and determination to defeat Kerry. He is going to kick off his campaign this summer with an ad campaign and is asking for our help. Beatty has already been backed by 30,000 contributors to get to this point, but now is the time to step up and write that check or contribute online.

Send your check to Jeff Beatty for U.S. Senate, P.O. Box 1599, Harwich, Massachusetts 02645 right away or contribute online.and learn more about this outstanding candidate. No corporate checks, please.

Let's face it. People are tired of "Do you know who I am?" Kerry with his spandex windsurfing suits.

All those years in the Senate and what does he have to show for it? A Democratic nomination for President that was derailed when his Vietnam colleagues in great numbers appeared on television to explain why he was unfit to lead. Kerry has the distinction of being perhaps the only person who knew that collecting three Purple Hearts in four months in Vietnam would get him out of the combat zone to something safe.

And we do remember how he teamed up with Jane Fonda to insult our troops -- likening them to the hordes of Genghis Khan.

kerrysenatehearing.jpg

More recently, he advised students to study hard and they would succeed, otherwise they would wind up in Iraq. Soldiers in Iraq noticed.

KERRYirak.jpg

Jeff Beatty came back from service and became an expert on national security. He appeared countless times on network shows to analyze what is happening in the war Islamic imperialism is waging against the United States -- you name it, NBC, Fox News, MSNBC or ABC.

In the only poll taken on the race, the Zogby organization found that Beatty was virtually tied with Kerry.

Zogby provided respondents with basic biographical information on John Kerry, Jeff Beatty and other Republican candidates and then asked “who would you vote for?” Results in the head-to-head competition were:

First; Kerry 48 % Beatty 45% (3 point margin – error margin 4.1% = a tie)

"DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?"

It has been suggested that in his imperial "Do you know who I am?" ascendency to the Democratic nomination for president Obama actually bears an eerie resemblance to the last Democratic nominee for president, Massachusetts' own John Kerry.

Kerry, who once again is resurfacing in Massachusetts now that it's election season, is hoping to avoid being retired to his wife's estate in Pennsylvania this November at the hands of former Army Delta Force Officer Jeff Beatty, who has just been endorsed by Vets for Freedom. (We all know what Kerry's Swift Boat colleagues thought.)

The iconoclastic Boston Herald reporter Howie Carr mused on his years covering Kerry back in 2004. Some things never change, so it's worth a trip down memory lane.

THE REAL JOHN KERRY

HOWIE CARR
February 5, 2004
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

One off the surest ways to get the phones ringing on any Massachusetts talk-radio show is to ask people to call in and tell their John Kerry stories. The phone lines are soon filled, and most of the stories have a common theme: our junior senator pulling rank on one of his constituents, breaking in line, demanding to pay less (or nothing) or ducking out before the bill arrives.

The tales often have one other common thread. Most end with Sen. Kerry inquiring of the lesser mortal: "Do you know who I am?"

CHATHAM REPUBLICANS WELCOME JEFF BEATTY

At Monday's monthly meeting of the Chatham Republican Town Committee, Chatham Republicans gave a warm welcome to Jeff Beatty, the Republican candidate to defeat John Kerry for the Senate this November.

Chairman Walter Bilowz expressed the committee's concern for how the high price of fuel was hurting everyone in Chatham, from our fishermen to the tourism industry to the men and women who have to drive to work every day.

Beatty said everywhere he goes in Massachusetts people have the same concerns about the high price of fuel and our unhealthy reliance on hostile and unstable overseas oil producers. They are frustrated and angry that not one member of the Massachusetts congressional delegation – all Democrats -- is doing anything to support development of new oil and natural gas resources in the United States.

KERRY IN MINORITY, VOTES AGAINST SURVEILLANCE OF TERRORISTS

The U.S. Senate today overwhelmingly approved a bill that authorizes surveillance of foreigners thought to be engaged in terrorist-related activity that could endanger citizens of the United States. The 69-28 vote is in favor was strongly bipartisan, as evidenced by the "yea" vote of the Democratic chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee Senator Jay Rockerfeller of West Virginia, who praised the bill for its protections of privacy and civil rights.

Once again Senator John Kerry of Massachusetts ignored the security concerns of the American people and voted against the bill. If the "nay" votes had prevailed, the stalemate that has hampered the collection of data on threats to Americans for more than a year would have continued.

It's time for some clear-headed thinking on the serious threats that face America. It is a failure of responsibiility such as this which demonstrates why voters should elect former Army Delta Force Officer Jeff Beatty this November 4th and send John Kerry into retirement.
